Living in the Environment Miller 17th Edition

Living in the Environment Miller 17th Edition is very informative for people new to environmental science, but it becomes very redundant after you read through about 5 chapters or so. It also seems to be about 50% pictures. Pictures are great, but if Living in the Environment Miller 17th Edition were purely text it would be about half the size. Then, if you were to take out any redundancy (content that has been explained in other chapters), you would be left to about 25% of the original size. When you are paying hefty costs for a textbook, you would hope there would be more extensive substance.
Overall, it was a decent book because addresses a large range of topics that are useful for a 101 class.Living in the Environment: Principles, Connections, and Solutions
